I had an extremely disappointing experience with The Meat Locker in Fort Collins. After harvesting my first elk, I entrusted them with over 200 lbs of bone-in meat for processing. What followed was a three-month ordeal marked by repeated delays, excuses, and poor communication.
Despite initial friendliness, the service deteriorated with constant rescheduling and questionable explanations that didn’t align with what I observed. In the end, I received only about 80-85 lbs of meat back, far less than expected, and additionally didn't receive my game bags back.
This was hands-down the worst business interaction I’ve ever had, and I’d advise others to steer clear.
